Decrease in Vegetables rates in Chennai Koyembedu Market

People in Chennai, Tamil Nadu have been experiencing a drastic increase in the vegetable rates which mostly affected the middle and lower middle income group people. But now with the increase in the number of truck Lorries loading vegetables and fruits coming into Chennai, the price rates have decreased from Rs.5 to Rs. 20 per Kg. 

This has brought the smiles on the people’s faces and they have started increasing the consumption of vegetables. The price of onion as on Saturday, 28th September was, R.50, which was previously Rs.65 and threatened the people hugely. The rates of other vegetables like carrot, beans have also considerably reduced.
