Special Brand Rate Determination Extended for Covid-19 Period
In a significant ruling, the Commissioner Appeals has decided that Special Brand Rate (SBR) determinations beyond the normal period of one year will be covered by the Supreme Court`s limitation extension order, if the delay relates to the Covid-19 period. This allows exporters to reclaim special drawbacks that lapsed during the pandemic.
