Operating electric trains from Chennai Beach to Guduvanchery in the mornings also !!
There are many people who travel by electric trains every day to their destinations. The news is that the passengers want the electric train services from Chennai Beach to Guduvanchery to be operated in the mornings also.
Now, with the opening of a new bus terminus at Kilambakkam in south Chennai, the passenger traffic has become more in the Vandalur- Urapakkam. It is noteworthy that electric train services that were operated up to Tambaram have been extended till Guduvanchery. From 7pm till 11pm, in both directions, 10 electric trains are being operated every day is known.
Now, the regular passengers want the electric train services to be operated even in the mornings so that these train services would be even more effective.
According to some officials belonging to the Chennai division of SR after the opening of Kilambakkam bus terminus for the sake of people 10 electric trains are being operated between Chennai beach and Guduvanchery from 7pm till 11pm. More than 10000 passengers travel on this route every day. The officials spoke about how the passengers want the electric trains to be operated in the mornings also. They concluded that the demand would be discussed and action would be taken.
