The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast indicating dry weather conditions prevailing over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal from March 6th to the 12th.

In their statement, the department highlighted that a dry spell is anticipated across these regions starting from today until the 12th of March. This forecast suggests a period of limited precipitation, indicating a potential continuation of dry conditions.

Furthermore, the department has also provided insights into the temperature trends expected during this period. Over the next two days, March 6th and 7th, maximum temperatures in Tamil Nadu may surpass normal levels by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in certain areas. Such deviations could result in heightened discomfort owing to the combination of high temperatures and humidity.

Specifically focusing on Chennai, partly cloudy skies are forecasted for the next 48 hours. Residents can expect maximum temperatures to range around 33-34 degrees Celsius, with minimum temperatures hovering between 23-24 degrees Celsius, according to the latest predictions from the Meteorological Department.
