Modernised police welfare food canteen inaugurated in Chennai!!

On Monday, a modernized police welfare food canteen, material store hall etc were inaugurated by the Greater Chennai Police Commissioner, Mr. Sandeep Rai Rathore in the Armed Reserve Complex, AR Complex in Pudupet in Chennai.
It must be noted that the entrance gate road of Pudupet AR-1 complex was in very bad condition. As a result, there was a difficulty in reaching the AR Duty Deployment office and the police quarters. A new road for a distance of 152m was constructed by the Chennai police in coordination with the IOCL or India Oil Corporation limited. Pont to be noted is that the old police food canteen was present in a small place with no adequate facilities.
A new police food canteen has been set up now at this place and it has got an air-conditioning facility also. This was done according to the orders from the Greater Chennai Police commissioner.
To store police equipment, a new store hall was also built at the floor of the AR office near Rajarathinam stadium. In this event, senior police officers and families belonging to the police personnel took part.
