For many years, Aavin or TN Cooperative Milk Producers network has been involved in the distribution of milk and milk products across TN. Aavin has been getting a revenue of Rs 45 cr through the sale of milk products.
The news now is that Aavin has taken an important decision for the upcoming summer season. Information gathered is that Aavin has planned to increase milk products by 20% this summer.
The MD of Aavin Mr. Vineeth spoke about how Aavin would be increasing the sales of its milk products by 20% in the summer season. He added that in the summer season there is a huge demand for Aavin ice creams.
It must be noted that there are ice cream manufacturing plants in places like Chennai, Ambattur, Salem and Madurai etc. He revealed that steps were being taken to produce ice creams, kulfi ice and buttermilk etc in the summer season. Coolers for keeping ice creams would be made. Mr. Vineeth concluded that Aavin has plans to increase buttermilk up by 20% during the summer season.
