Anna University Examinations postponed in 5 districts including Thirunelveli!

Anna University announced today, Tuesday, 19th December, that examinations for engineering courses scheduled until 23rd December in five districts, including Thirunelveli, have been postponed.
Persistent heavy rains in southern districts, namely Kanyakumari, Thirunelveli, Thoothukkudi, and Thenkasi, have led to severe water stagnation, disrupting daily routines and causing hardships for citizens over the past two days.
As a result, Anna University has decided to postpone the engineering course examinations until 23rd December in the aforementioned districts. The affected districts include Kanyakumari, Thirunelveli, Thoothukkudi, Thenkasi, and Virudhunagar.
The university also indicated that the rescheduled examination dates will be announced at a later time. Additionally, semester examinations for students registered with the Long Distance Education Council of Anna University have also been postponed.
The university expressed its understanding of the challenging situation caused by the heavy rains and assures students that new examination dates will be communicated in due course.
