Traffic Violation Cases Cancelled: ANPR Camera Recordings Voided Due to Cyclone Michuang Rains

A total of 6,670 cases were registered through ANPR cameras installed at various junctions in areas under the jurisdiction of the Chennai Metropolitan Traffic Police from December 3, 2023, to December 8, 2023. However, due to the rainfall attributed to Cyclone Michuang, the cases recorded by modern technology cameras on the mentioned dates will be cancelled as a one-time measure.
