Electricity from North to South

To bring electricity from north to south regions 765 KW electricity substations are erected in 4 regions of Tamilnadu. At present, the electricity need in Tamilnadu is 12000 KW, however only 8000 KW is generated. Southern regions are not getting the required electricity and there was quite a lot of power shutdown. So to manage the deficit, electricity is received from other states. However there is no proper facility to direct the electricity from north to south. So many sub stations are being erected to direct the power from north to south regions.
