Sony to increase gadget prices

Sony India has planned to increase the prices of consumer electronics of various categories. The reason behind this is the huge depreciation in the value of Indian Rupee. According to Sony’s head of sales – Mr. Sunil Nayyar, the company will increase the product prices with respect to the weakening of rupee value. He also added that this rupee value depreciation has affected the company’s overall functioning.
It is to be noted that the Sony company has been selling several electronic items including flat panel TVs like Bravia model, digital cameras, Sony notebooks, Smart phones and lots more.
