Department of Tourism floats a tender to set up cracker sales shops for Deepavali Sales at the Island Grounds Chennai Metro City!

The Department of Tourism and Development of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has issued a tender for establishing cracker sales shops for the Deepavali festival at the Island Grounds in Chennai Metro City.
Deepavali is scheduled to be celebrated throughout India on November 12th of this year, 2023.
Traditionally, cracker shops are set up for sales at the Island Grounds in Chennai Metro City during this time.
In this regard, the Department of Tourism and Development of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has released a tender for establishing cracker shops for sales.
The deadline for tender submission is August 30th. Tenders have been made available for the setup of a total of 55 cracker shops, as per information provided by officials from the Department of Tourism and Development of the State Government of Tamil Nadu.
Officials have further indicated that the tender selection process will be finalized in September, and the establishment of the cracker shops will commence shortly thereafter. The sale of cracker shop items will last for 15 days.
