TASMAC outlets in shopping malls

In order to entice tourists, the TASMAC has decided to open its liquor outlets in the important shopping malls. There are 6,838 liquor shops in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Salem zones. Rs 67 Crores worth of liquor are sold every day through these outlets. The distilleries in India import branded premium liquors from Australia, France and German. These liquors are supplied to TASMAC. The imported liquors have good market here though the rate is slightly high. There is a good inflow of tourists in Chennai because of the multinational IT companies. Hence TASMAC had decided to open its liquor outlets in shopping malls like Express Avenue, City Centre and Phoenix Mall. Only imported and premium liquors will be sold out in these outlets. There will be no bar facilities in these outlets.
