Dress Code for Government Arts College and engineering college came into force from yesterday. Students Organizations have vehemently condemned this.
The government`s move to implement dress code for students came against the backdrop of various complaints that several students were coming to the college in “indecent” attire.
Dress code helps inculcate discipline. Girls in provocative attire might make boys indulge in behavior like eve-teasing. Dress code would play a vital role in maintaining conducive learning atmosphere.
