IRCTC website can book 7200 tickets per minute

Very soon the IRCTC website will enable to book 7200 tickets per minute. The Minister of State Railways Mr. Kotla Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy has confirmed this. IRCTC is working on this and in the coming years this facility will be available to all. At present, only 2000 tickets can be booked per minute; this is not sufficient as the number of people using the railway services are increasing day by day.
Many people are not getting tickets because of the current set up, however in the coming days people can book more tickets per minute as the IRCTC website will operate faster.
