Random numbers (or Equal Opportunity Avenue) for counseling for admission to graduate engineering courses are set to be released tomorrow (Tuesday, 6th June).
The registration for admission to Engineering Colleges in the State of Tamil Nadu, assisted by the Central Government, Anna University and its affiliated/member colleges, and self-financed Engineering Colleges to pursue B. E., B. Tech., B. Arch., etc., for the Academic Year 2023-24 commenced on the 5th of May.
The registration of applications for admission to graduate engineering courses concluded on 4th June (Sunday, yesterday).
A total of 187,693 candidates have applied.
Random numbers will be released for the merit list tomorrow (Tuesday, 6th June). Each candidate will be assigned a random number. This information can be viewed on the website.
In cases where multiple candidates have obtained the same cut-off marks, the merit will be determined by the random number.
A total of 2.29 lakh candidates have applied to Anna University and its member/affiliated colleges. Compared to last year, there has been an increase of 16,810 applicants.
The verification of documents, etc., will be conducted online for all candidates, except for the sports group cadre.
