Amidst the relentless summer heat in Tamil Nadu, the official announcement has been made regarding the reopening of schools. In a slight deviation from the previous schedule, classes from VI to XII will commence on June 12 to account for the prevailing weather conditions.
Furthermore, it has been declared that students from 1st to 5th grade will resume their classes a couple of days later, starting from June 14.
Initially, schools were scheduled to reopen in the first week of June , but considering the rising temperatures and the discomfort it may cause to students, the authorities decided to postpone the reopening by a few days.
The extended break provides an opportunity for students to stay indoors, stay hydrated, and take necessary precautions to beat the heat. It is essential for parents and guardians to ensure that children are protected from the harsh weather conditions and avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight.
