Prospects for rain for 4 days in Tamil Nadu - Maximum temperature may be 104 Degrees Fahrenheit!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of rain for four days starting from today (Monday, 29th May) in a few places in Tamil Nadu. The maximum temperature may reach 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a notification released by the Director of the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre, Pa. Senthamaraikkanna, it is mentioned:

"Due to the development of a cyclonic format in the lower layers of the atmosphere over the region of Tamil Nadu, and as a result of thermal convection, there are prospects of mild to medium rainfall in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry from today (Monday, 29th May) until the 1st of June.

There are prospects of heavy rain in Nilgiri, Coimbatore, Erode, Krishnagiri, and Dharmapuri districts on 31st May, and heavy rain in a few places in Nilgiri, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, and Thirupathur on the 1st of June.

The maximum temperature for the next two days (today and tomorrow) in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry may be 100-104 degrees Fahrenheit.

Chennai Metro City and its suburbs will remain partly cloudy in the next 48 hours. There are prospects of mild rain in one or two places in the city. The maximum temperature may reach 104 degrees Fahrenheit, and the minimum temperature may be 83 degrees Fahrenheit.

Regarding the rainfall in the last 24 hours, a maximum of 8 cm was recorded in Vaalparai, Coimbatore district, and 5 cm in Nathan, Dindigul District."
