Cash transfers for LPG will be extended to 269 districts

From coming January 1st, the direct benefits transfer (DBT) programme for gas connections will be extended to another 269 districts. This programme is named “Aap Ka Paisa, Aap Ke Haath” meaning your money in your hands. Many tea stalls and hotels are using the gas connections which are meant for household purposes; basically this programme will eliminate the pilferage.
Based on the Aadhar, Rs. 435.00 direct benefits transfer is offered to the clients. Initially this programme was rolled out to 20 districts and now will be extended to 269 more districts.
