Amenities at Velankanni Railway Station for the convenience of pilgrims

For the convenience of pilgrims attending the Velankanni festival the Southern Railway’s Trichy Division has made lots of amenities at Velankanni Railway Station. A reservation counter, unreserved ticket counter, enquiry terminal, toilets, cubicles, round –the-clock medical booth and ambulance and adequate number of RPF personnel and bomb squad have been arranged.
Apart from this Indian Railways have arranged special trains from important cities throughout the country for convenience of pilgrims.
