Rain expected on TN and Pondy

According to the weather forecast , heavy rain with thundershower is expected in regions of Pondy and Tamilnadu. This would be a good news to chennaites as yesterday the city experienced a high temperature.
One of the officers in the Chennai meteorological department said that in the next 24 hours heavy rain would occur in the above cited regions. Further they added that Chennai is more likely to experience heavy rainfall in the evening and nights.
