Traffic police got into action to spread awareness about revised auto fares

Further to the government’s announcement about the revised auto rickshaw fares, there were several alert messages spread across the city by the traffic polices. They stressed about making use of meters in autos. Several polices were found at the city’s auto rickshaw stands with a print of new fares.
They took these fares and explained all auto drivers regarding the compulsion in changing the fares. The Marina beach auto drivers were addressed by the inspector – Swarna kumaran. In addition to this, he also advised about using the appropriate number plates.
