Increasing cord cutters in India

Nowadays more people are migrating to web based programmes instead relying on TV and cable connection for entertainment. People find easy to handle the touch screens of phones and tablets rather than handling their TV remotes. In US most of the people are very comfortable using the web instead of TV.
In India the numbers of cord cutter are not as high as in US; however the rate is growing very fast. People feel that watching in web is more convenient as they can select the shows and picture quality; however, in TV one has to watch as per the terms of the service provider. Within five years, it is believed that TV and web based programmes will exist concurrently.
