Is the Chennai metro project will be the savior for Chennai traffic

Today travelling is not that easy and everyone rely on the bus which takes long hours to reach the desired destination. However Chennai metro assures that it will give relief from all these; it promises to provide facilities like disabled friendly stations,special coach for women, and travel time reduction from 50 to 75 percent.
S. Somasundaram, the Chief General Manager (Construction) of CMRL (Chennai Metro Rail Limited) assures that different transport modes will be incorporated at all the major stations, subways will be constructed to ease commuters and pedestrian movement.
