Chennai-Vijayawada Train Service Cancelled Today and Tomorrow

Southern Railway has made an important announcement regarding the cancellation of the Chennai to Vijayawada express train for today and tomorrow. The decision has been taken due to maintenance work on the tracks.
Passengers who had booked tickets for the Chennai Central to Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Jan Shatabdi Express for today and tomorrow are advised to make alternative travel arrangements.
For those planning to travel on the Jan Shatabdi Express from Chennai to Vijayawada on other days, the train will depart from Chennai at 7.25 am and reach Vijayawada at 2.50 pm. It will depart from Madurai at 3.20 pm and reach Chennai Central at 10.40 pm.
Furthermore, the Vijayawada to Chennai Central express train, which runs daily at 6.10 am, has been partially canceled on Saturday and Sunday between Nellore and Chennai Central. On these two days, the train will depart from Nellore at 4.50 pm instead of Chennai Central.
Southern Railway apologizes for the inconvenience caused to passengers and assures them that the maintenance work is necessary for the safe and efficient operation of trains.
