Aadhaar has simplified passport applying process

Applying for a passport is tedious, one should gather so many documents like pan card, secondary and higher secondary mark sheets, driving license, birth certificate, PAN card and much more. Now Aadhaar card would simplify this tiresome process. Now, with just a valid aadhaar number, you can apply for your passport. The Ministry of external Affairs has intimated all the authorities in this regard.
Aadhaar number is a 12 digit unique identification number issued to every individual by UIDAI to provide unique identification. All the details including the demographic details and biometric information like photograph, fingerprints etc will be gathered and stored in the centralized hub.
You can submit your Aadhaar letter at the time of applying your passport and you can get rid of most of the documents submission.
