Traffic change in Mambalam for a year: More details

Construction of Kodambakkam Metro Station will be carried out by CMRL on Chennai Mambalam Main Road (Kodambakkam Metro Station).
The Chennai Traffic Police proposed on Sunday that traffic be diverted in Mambalam beginning tomorrow due to construction work being done by the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL).
The officials urged the city residents to take note of the advisory and plan their journies accordingly.
Traffic advisory issued by Chennai Police
- All types of vehicle movement is prohibited on Mambalam Main Road from Thyagaraya Gramani Road Junction to Habibullah Road Junction.
- Light vehicles going towards Kodambakkam flyover from Mambalam Main Road will be prohibited at the junction of Thyagaraya Gramani Road.
- These vehicles can pass through Thyagaraya Salai, North Usman Road and Habibullah Road.
- Light vehicles from Kodambakkam flyover side to T Nagar on Mambalam Main Road are prohibited at the junction of Habibullah Road and can pass through Habibullah Road and North Usman Road.
