Sudden extension of traffic arrangements at kutchery road in Mylapore from Today

Earlier, traffic diversions were made in and around the Kutchery Road in Mylapore in Chennai on a trial basis to facilitate the works of CMRL. The latest news that has come out from Chennai city police is that the traffic arrangements here would continue for another 3 years. The extension of the traffic arrangements would start from today, Saturday, 24th december.
It is important to mention that the existing one way system at Kalvivaru street would be modified to restrict the movement of vehicles from Mundakanni Amma Koil Street to Kutchery Road and allow them from Kutchery Road to Mundakanni Amman Koil Street. From Luz Junction, LMV or light motor vehicles are restricted via Kutchery Road to Santhome High Road and diverted at Kalvivaru Street, Mundakanni Amman Koil Street and Bazaar Road.
It must be noted that the LMVs coming from Santhome High Road towards Luz Junction via Kutchery Road are restricted and diverted at Devadi Street, Nadu Street and RK. Mutt Road.
