Namma School Project in TN today - Important details to know?

Today, Monday, 19th December 2022 will become an important day in the history of the government schools belonging to Tamil Nadu!!
Reason for that is the school education department would be introducing the Namma School Foundation in Tamil Nadu. In the presence of many educationalists and NGOs, the CM of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Stalin would be launching this programme.
In some govt based schools in the state, the teachers or other staff members have somehow managed to bring in sponsors to facilitate the infrastructure development. It must be noted that overall most govt schools lack basic infrastructure facilities. To provide monthly/weekly counselling for the students, a govt school in Triplicane has associated with a NGO. In the same way, a government school in Adyar employed a staff to clean toilets and schools.
For the better distribution of funds, resources and facilities etc through better networking in all the govt schools, the school education department has planned the Namma School initiative.
Information collected is that Mr. Venu Srinivasan (TVS Motors chairman) would be the chairman of the Namma School foundation and Mr. Viswanathan Anand( Famous Indian chess player) would be the brand ambassador. In the first phase, 100 govt schools would be chosen to implement this programme.
