Medical Centre opened at Egmore railway station

Dr Vadivel Mugunuthan, chairman of St John Ambulance, Tamil Nadu inaugurated a round-the clock free medical center at the Egmore railway station. Southern Railway has opened this Centre in association with SRM Institute of Medical Sciences.
There will be three doctors and three nurses to attend the patients at the medical center. It will have a stock of all essential and emergency medicines, and an ambulance service will also be available. It will serve as an information center disseminating information on all the hospitals in the city to patients who arrive in the city for medical treatment.
The center will educate the public on seasonal ailments and epidemics. Frequent medical camps will be organized to provide the public with tips and guidelines to lead a healthy life.
