Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that there are prospects for a new cyclonic format to be developed over the Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours.
The low-pressure format which developed over the Bay of Bengal last week led to copious rains in the Northern Tamil Nadu districts. In this status, it is now informed that this low-pressure zone has weakened.
Due to this, it is estimated that a dry climate will prevail over Tamil Nadu for the next 4 days!
Further, the Indian Meteorological Department has informed that there are prospects for a new cyclonic format to develop in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the North Andaman coast.
As regards Chennai Metro City, the sky will remain somewhat cloudy in the next 24 hours and there are prospects for mild rain in a few parts of the city!
