A holiday has been announced for 20 districts tomorrow due to heavy rain warning
Following the red alert, schools and colleges in Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram Cuddalore, Vellore, Mayiladuthurai, Nilgiris, Thiruvarur, Thanjavur Karur, Pudukottai, Salem, Kallakurichi, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Trichy, Dharmapuri and Thiruvannamalai will be closed today (12 Nov, Saturday ).
