Rich Tirupathi temple: Rs. 15983 Crores in Banks and Deposit of 10 Tons of Gold!

The Thirumalai-Tirupathi Devasthanam has so far invested Rs. 15983.68 Crores and 10 Tons of Gold in banks!
Lord Venkateswara or Lord Srinivasa, the presiding deity in the temple, is considered as the richest God!
Presently, the temple and the Thirumalai-Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) earn a monthly average of Rs. 120 Crores.
Apart from cash, the devotees offer some costly items as well! TTD deposits these items in the bank!
In this regard, the President of the Religious Endowment Board of the Tirupathi Temple, Y. V. Subba Reddy, has released a notification. It is mentioned in this notification:
"As per the status on 30th September, Thirumalai-Tirupathi Devasthanam has deposited the following amounts in the banks mentioned:
- State Bank of India: Rs. 5358.11 Crores
- Union Bank of India: Rs. 1694.35 Crores
- Bank of Baroda: 1839.36 Crores
- HDFC Bank: Rs. 2122.85 Crores
- Canara Bank: Rs. 2122.85 Crores
The above cash has been taken from the Hundi of the temple and deposited in the above banks!
So far, Thirumalai-Tirupathi Devasthanam has deposited cash of Rs. 15938.68 Crores and 10 Tons of gold in the above banks.
Considered to be the Richest God in the entire world, there is a monthly income of an average of Rs. 120 Crores! Apart from cash, devotees offer certain costly items as well!
