Sensational news about the complete transformation of Broadway in Chennai!!

With the upcoming multi-modal complex, the appearance of Broadway would be different!!
In the future, Brodway would have commercial establishments plus MTC buses, CMRL and suburban connectivity.
It was revealed by some officials belonging to CMRLthat the complex would have a bus stand, space for office complex or rental outlets plus parking facilities for govt buses, private vehicles and commuters etc.
It must be noted that a few years back the idea of transforming Broadway was discussed and GCC has carried out a feasibility report also. Now, the project has gained a fresh lease of life. For the sake of DPR or detailed project report, the Tamil Nadu government has asked CMRL to appoint a consultant.It is now mentioned that once the report gets the approval from the government the entire work would be completed in about 2 years.
The buses belonging to Metropolitan Transport Corporation or MTC would be stationed in the ground and first floor and there would be space for parking of vehicles. Point is that above the parking space for vehicles there might be another 7 to 10 floors of commercial establishments. It is superb to note that the High Court metro station and Fort railway station would be linked by means of a skywalk. The commuters and those living in the neighbourhoods would be benefited.
