Job Opportunities: 20000 vacancies announced: for SSLC passed candidates!

The Staff Selection Committee administers the task of announcing vacancies in the different government departments for various cadres and conducting tests and interviews for recruitment!

Now, the Staff Selection Commission has announced the vacancies for over 20000 posts this year!

In a notification released by the State Government of Tamil Nadu in this regard, it is mentioned that for most of the Group-B cadre jobs, graduates I (Combined Graduate Level Examination - CGLE) n the age group 20-30 will be selected through a competitive examination.

The selection is for recruitment in various cadres in different departments of the Central and State Governments including Assistant Section Officer (in the Chief Secretariat of the Central Government), Central Department of Intelligence, Railways Department, External Affairs Department, Defense Ministry, Office of the Chief Secretariat and the Posts of Inspectors for the Central Government Revenue Departments of Central Board of Direct Taxes, Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs, Directorate of Enforcement, Central Board of Narcotics and then for the posts of Assistant Superintendent, for different department of the Central Government.

Further, as regards the Group-C cadre vacancies, Candidates who have completed +2 or 12th Standard in the age group 18-27 will be selected through the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination will be chosen for the different departments of the central government for the posts of Junior Assistants and Lower Division Clerks.

Syllabus

The syllabus for the questions of the examinations as mentioned above for the selection of various posts of the central government departments for Grade-1 is General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English and Comprehension.

For Grade-2 examination questions, the syllabus is from Mathematics abilities, Reasoning and General Intelligence, English, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge and General Studies.
