Chennai Day! GCC invites Chennai citizens to participate in the Reels Contests in the Social Networking Media!

Chennai Day is set to be celebrated on 22nd August!
As such, the Greater Chennai Corporation invites the Chennai Public to participate in various Reels contests on the Social Networking Media.
In a notification released by the Greater Chennai Corporation in this regard (GCC) it is mentioned:
"Greater Chennai Corporation I delighted in inviting the citizens to participate on the special occasion of Chennai Day!
Chennai was created in the year 1639!
Now, it has grown to be known as `Singara Chennai` in many dimensions being the guide to citizens of various sections/cadres! As such, it has acquired a s[ecial place in the hearts of the citizens!
As such, in order to celebrate the special occasion of our beloved `Chennai Day` falling on 22nd August, various colourful events and contests are being organized including painting contests, photography competition, Reels Contests on the social networking media and Short Film Contests!
Participants in the Painting contest can take the main theme of our National Flag and bring out their creative skills!
In the Photography competition, the contestants can click photographs on the theme of Chennai`s tradition and culture. Best photographs will be published/displayed on the social networking pages of the Greater Chennai Corporation.
For the participants in the Reels Completion on the social networking media, they can present their creative skills on the theme of Chennai Metro City`s tradition and culture. Best reels will be awarded prizes! The best reels will be displayed on GCC`s Instagram Page!
In the short feature film contest, the contestants can make a short feature film on the theme of Chennai and send it to GCC. The best short feature film will be screened on Chennai Day website and on the social networking pages of the Greater Chennai Corporation.
The contestants can adapt the time of improving the residential areas of the economically backward society and make feature films regarding the improvements explained!
