In Trichy, many teachers refused to get administered with Covid-19 booster dose as it would lead to diabetes condition in them. This is absolutely wrong.

The doctors from CMC in Vellore in Tamil Nadu have confirmed that taking Covid 19 booster dose is not at all linked to diabetes.

Dr. Winsley Rose, mixed vaccine study`s principal investigator from CMC Vellore explained that it was just a rumour as there have been no incidences of diabetes in persons administered with both Covishied as well as Covaxin dose. This was brought to light by the study.

Safe and with no live element in it, vaccines are safe and they do not lead to diabetes in persons. This was as per the famous virologist named Dr. Jacob John. He added that there are some chances of mRNA vaccines creating pericardial issues in some persons bur it would be only short lived. Those who get pericardial issues would have to refrain from doing heavy exercises etc.

It is noteworthy that Astra Zeneca vaccines or Covishield vaccines in India could lead to some bleeding and clotting in patients and hence it is not popular in Europe.

It must not be forgotten that during the early days of vaccination in 2021 there were some rumours that by administering with vaccines a person might become impotent and it was proved to be false one. It was later brought out by some sources that many came forward to get vaccinated because the fear of death due to Covid-19 was more than the fear of becoming impotent.
