Greater Chennai Corporations welcome news: 5264 corona patients are well and recovering!

There has been a spurt of increase in the spread of the coronavirus infection spread over the last 2 weeks in the areas under the jurisdiction of the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC).
As per yesterday’s report, 5936 citizens have been infected with coronavirus and are under treatment.
942 citizens were infected yesterday (Tuesday, 5th July).
Out of these, 5264 citizens are under isolation and treatment. 57 patients are in the GCC COVID Safety Centres. 263 patients are under treatment in public and private sector hospitals!
On behalf of the Greater Chennai Corporation, it has been informed that all the above patients are in good condition without any threat to life and that isolated 5264 patients were contacted at their respective residences their safe condition is confirmed and they are being closely and continuously monitored.
Further, an appeal has been m, made by the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) that the citizens who have not got vaccinated so far – (868930), citizens above 60 years of age, citizens who have other illness complaints and the 376917 citizens who have not got vaccinated so far MUST VIST THE GCC HEALTH CENTRES AND GET VACCINATED!
