Why huge relief for all International passengers in Chennai??

Just a few days back, it was revealed that more flights would be operated from Chennai airport. Now, one more good news has come out.
For the sake of immigration procedures at the Chennai airport, passengers coming from foreign countries would have to wait for a long time. This is usually tedious for these passengers and they have been finding it difficult is known.
Hereafter, this long waiting for immigration would not be there for the international passengers at the Chennai airport and the passengers could feel relieved and happy. From next month, manpower would be increased at the Chennai airport. It was revealed by some officials belonging to the Airport Authority of India AAI that 30 new recruits would be joining after the middle of July 2022 at this airport after finishing their training.
According to some officials belonging to AAI it was clear that they have been writing to the authorities in the government both state as well as the central government and Bureau of Immigration repeatedly for many months. They added that soon they would be getting 30 personnel for handling the immigration procedure at the airport. Point is that the 30 new recruits would be joining by mid of July after completing their training.
An officer belonging to AAI later threw light on how crowding and excessive delays occur at the international terminal when many flights land or take off within a short period of time. He added that till now, managing the immigration process has been difficult due to lack of adequate manpower.
It is learnt that now nearly 20 to 23 persons handle 56 counters in arrival as well as departure halls of the international terminal. Information gathered is that the 30 new recruits might not be deployed at the same time and they would be on shits depending on the air traffic.
