Why are arranged marriages considered better than love marriages?

Marriages are made in heaven!! Yes, it`s true!!
We believe that our parents know better than us and that is the reason why arranged marriages have been more successful.
Truth is that in the arranged marriage system, bride and brief groom are selected by persons other than the couple themselves. In many cultures, arranged marriages have been more prominent than love marriages. In case of love marriages, bride and bride grooms select their partners on their own and get married with or without the consent of their families. There are many people who would feel that love marriages are better when compared to arranged marriages.
Truth is that it is that arranged marriage set up that would unite 2 families with a similar type of belief system. The foundation for a strong relationship is often built through a similar type of belief system. Though love marriages have been on the rise, the majority prefers only arranged marriages even now.
There are few reasons why arranged marriages are better than love marriages. They are
Accepting each other as per the situations:
It is well known that in an arranged marriage the initial couple of years are spent by getting to know about the life partner. Here, lots of time would be spent getting to know about each other. This would mainly to try and get adjusted to the partner’s lifestyle. In the love marriage, the couples knew well about each other and various ideas and perspectives of them towards the future would be known beforehand. Pont to be noted is that it would be difficult to obey when this understanding relates to the expected social commitments that they would buy after marriage.
Minimal expectations:
In case of arranged marriages, the expectations of the partners would be minimal. In the love marriage, partners would have huge expectations. It must be noted that the prolonged expectations would go unnoticed and unfulfilled and it would end up in divorce etc. It is important to mention that in an arranged marriage the couples would not know about each other when compared to the couples going for love marriage. Lack of knowledge about each other would lead to lesser expectations between the couples. The chances of getting divorced are less in arranged marriages due to lesser expectations.
No struggle to convince parents:
This is one superb advantage of arranged marriage over love marriage. In arranged marriage, the bride or bride groom do not have the necessity to tell their parents or persuade their parents to help them to get married. Everything goes smoothly. The parents and relatives select the life partners of ththeir kid after finding that the bride or bride groom would be a perfect match. Whether to accept the selected person or not is in the hands of the bride or bridegroom only.
More excitement and thrill:
It is the arranged marriage that would make life to be thrilling and exciting because the couples might not know about each other fully. It is true that the post engagement time is very important and highly exciting for the couples who are going to get married as the couples would get to know many things about their life partner. In case of love marriage, there would not be anything to know about their partner as the couples already knew well about each other.
