An important announcement: Schools Reopening: to all district collectors!

The State Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered that the cleaning activity of the schools must be taken up immediately!
As the school sessions for the current academic year 2021-22 commenced late due to the raging spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the public examinations for the 10th, 11th, & 12th Standards could be completed only by end of May.
Further, as for the students studying from the 1st Standard to the 9th Standard, annual examinations have been conducted and summer vacation has been declared.
It has been announced that the schools will reopen on 13th June for the students from the 1st to the 9th Standard after the summer vacation.
Schools will reopen on 27th June for the 11th Standard students and on 20th June for the 12th Standard students.
In this scenario, it has now been ordered by the State Government of Tamil Nadu that the cleaning activity of the school premises must be taken up on top priority.
The Chief Secretary of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, V. Irai Anbu, has written a letter to all the district collectors in this regard. It is mentioned in this letter:
�The cleaning activity of the school premises must be undertaken. Note that no money MUST be collected from the parents of the students in this regard! No funds must be collected from the parents, teachers and the teachers; Association!
The schools must be cleaned perfectly and then classes may be conducted. The walls of the premises must be white-washed and painted and the doors, etc., must be repaired! Blackboards, chairs, etc., must be painted!
The school playing grounds must be kept clean!�
