Seven jetrodding machines and 12 sewage desilting machines worth Rs. 2.99 crores were distributed by The municipal administration and rural administration minister K.P. Munusamy at the Metrowater office in Chintadripet on Friday. The equipment will be put to use to maintain and prevent blocks in the sewer network in areas such as Royapuram, Villivakkam, Velachery, Saidapet, T. Nagar, Egmore and Perambur.
