Students driving their vehicles to their schools would soon become a thing of the past!!
An emergency advisory notice has been issued by the government of TN to all chief education officers to instruct the institutions not to permit students riding bikes or other 2 wheelers to schools.
To prevent the school students travelling on the bus foot boards, a separate notice has also been issued now to the transport department. Many complaints were received regarding students belonging to many private schools driving their own vehicles to their schools. The emergency advisory notice has come at this point of time and is making news. This was according to a senior officer belonging to the school education department.
The senior official later spoke about how the school managements were asked to advise the parents against sending their kids to schools in this manner. It is noteworthy that the teachers and parents must not allow kids below the age of 18 to travel to schools on 2 wheelers as it was against the law. By means of many programmes, an awareness regarding this would be made soon among the students. It seems that the schools have been asked to change the timings for classes 6 to 10 and 11 and 12.
