An important announcement: Direct admission to the second year of B. E. or B. Tech. Courses!

Directorate Of Technical Education has announced that applications are invited for admission to part-time B. E. and B. Tech. courses from 6th August.
Applications are invited for admission to the part-time B. E. and B. Tech. courses from the candidates who have completed the Engineering Diploma Courses and are employed to join the engineering colleges functioning under the Directorate Of Technical Education.
In this category, the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has detailed the qualifications for direct admission to the second year of the B. E. or B. Tech. courses.
As per this, direct 2nd-year admission for the engineering graduate courses can be given to the candidates who have completed a graduate science course (B. Sc.) or a Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 45%.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are given a concession in the minimum mark � it is 40% in place of 45%.
