Karunanidhi stamp released in Austria

DMK Chief M. Karunanidhi�s image has become part of a postage stamp that has been released by the Austrian Government. The government released a limited edition stamp of the leader to commemorate his 90th birthday.
The Austrian Government had received requests from individuals who highlighted Mr. Karunanidhi�s contributions to politics, literature and films. The stamp has an image of his face, a band of the DMK part flag�s colours red and black and the number 90 in the backdrop.
�It (is) the result of affectionate gestures of a few towards the party chief. It is a result of love and affection, lakhs of partymen have for Karunanidhi,.. The stamp comes at a cost of 90 euros�, said an enthusiast.
