Graduate medical courses - all MBBS seats get filled!

After the counselling sessions for joining the graduate medical courses MBBS & BDS for government quota, 7254 seats have been filled.
In a notification released in this regard by the Medical Education Council, it is mentioned:
�In Tamil Nadu, there are 7825 seats available for MBBS course and 2060 seats are available for BDS Course in the Government colleges and the self-financed colleges.
Out of these, 886 seats have been allotted for the All India Quota. 1742 seats are allotted for the administration quota.
Apart from these, the balance of 5800 MBBS Seats and 1457 BDS Seats are allotted for the State Government quota. The 1st Phase of counselling for this has been completed. After this counselling, except for the state government quota of 3 BDS seats in self-financed colleges, all other seats have been filled. These have been filled up based on the 69% quota.

A separate list for Vellore CMC
A special exclusive merit/rank list has been released for the minorities for admission to the Vellore CMC. In this regard, the Secretary of the Medical Selection Council Ms Vasanthamani shared:
�There are 100 seats for MBBS course allotted for the minorities in Vellore CMC. In this regard, as per the High Court Order, 70 seats are to be filled up by the Medical Council Directorate and 30 seats are to be filled up by the college administration. In case any of the Christian candidate�s name has been left put, immediately application has to be sent to the email: [email protected]. Note that delayed submission of applications will NOT be considered.�
