The task of verification of certificates/documents of the candidates for MBBS and BDS completed!

With the counselling under various cadres and selection of candidates for joining graduate medical courses of MBBS & BDS completed. The task of verification of certificates and documents of the candidates was undertaken over the last 3 days and this has now been completed for 38 medical colleges including those in Chennai Metro City.
Subsequently, the officials of the Medical Education Council have informed that the details of seats allocated will be uploaded on the internet on 15th February.
The verification of the certificates and documents for the candidates who participated in the first 6082 counselling sessions was taken up on 8th February and has been completed yesterday (10th February).
The candidates visited their selected colleges directly including Chennai Metro City�s Stanley Medical College, Chennai Medical College, Kilpauk Medical College, Omandhurar Government Medical College and the Tamil Nadu Government Dental College and all other government medical colleges in the State of Tamil Nadu and presented their original certificates and documents for verification.
This task got completed yesterday (10th February). Subsequently, the details of the colleges will be uploaded on 15th February on the websites https://tnhealth.tn.gov.in and https://tnmedicalselection.net.
After this, the candidates can receive the order for admission and join their respective selected colleges from 17th February until 3.00 PM on 22nd February.
The Medical Education Council has further announced that in case of some candidates fail to join within the above-stipulated dates, these seats will be announced as vacant and the 2nd Phase of counselling will commence!
