Verification of certificates/documents for MBBS and BDS commences today!

The verification of the certificates and documents for the candidates who have participated in the counselling sessions commences today (Tuesday, 8th February) in Tamil Nadu.
Presently, ONLINE counselling is in progress for admission to the graduate medical courses MBBS & BDS.
In the 1st Phase, counselling was conducted for the differently-abled candidates and the heirs of Ex-Military personnel.
Subsequently, candidates were selected for the 7.5% quota reserved for the candidates who studied in Government High Schools.
As such, counselling for the common or general cadre candidates is now in progress.
With the candidates having selected their preferred colleges based on their performance in the NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test), the verification of the certificates/documents commences today (Tuesday, 8th February).
The candidates have already been requested to visit their preferred college directly and present their original certificates/documents. Out of the available seats of 6389, 6082 candidates as per the merit or Rank list have been called.
In Tamil Nadu, there are 3848 seats available in government medical colleges, 75 seats available in ESI Medical colleges and 1368 seats available in the self-financed medical colleges!
