Sudden announcement from School Education Department to the schools in TN!!

After being closed due to the increase in the number of Coronavirus cases the schools have reopened once again from 1st of February in the state of TN. It is known that the health department has announced various guidelines that have to be followed compulsorily by teachers and students in the school campuses. These guidelines must be followed for the sake of direct physical classes at the schools. The revision exams for the students of classes 10 and 12 were postponed due to the sudden rise in the Coronavirus cases in January. Now, the school education department has decided to conduct the revision examinations for the students. It has been already confirmed that in this year there would be board examinations for these students.
Now, the school education department has sent an order to the teachers to complete the syllabus as soon as possible as the board examinations are nearing. The school education department has further asked all the schools to function full time and teach the subjects for the students. In this aspect, the district primary education officers have sent circulars to all the district schools.
According to the circular, the schools must function full time and the students should be asked to attend the direct physical classes at the schools. It added that the schools must not teach the students for half a day or for just a few hours and send them to their homes. Strict action would be taken against those schools which do not obey the order. All syllabuses must be completed within the stipulated time.
