It must be noted that the fingerprint registration was put on hold due to the delivery of the Pongal gift. Out of station ration card holders were unable to get the essential items. The Pongal festival gift package work has been completed now and soon and it is said that the fingerprinting system would be reintroduced once again. By this, persons from other states in TN would be able to get the essential items from the ration shops here.
