An important announcement from Southern Railway to the passengers!

It is traditional in Tamil Nadu for operating special trains and the State Government of Tamil Nadu as well as the Private transport o0rganisations to arrange special buses to operate to facilitate the lakhs of citizens who plan to visit their native places to celebrate the most important Tamil Festival of Pongal and return to their workplace!
Accordingly, special buses and trains are being operated on the occasion of Pongal from today (Thursday, 13th January, Bhogi Festival).
In this regard, as per the announcement released by the Southern Railway, it is mentioned:
On 14th & 15th January, the trains operated in the routes Chennai Beach-Chengalpattu, Chennai Beach-Velachery, Chennai MGR Central Station-Arkonam, Chennai MGR Central Station-Gummidipundi will operate as per the usual Sunday Timetable!
